Villamora is an argentine outstanding producer and exporting company of honey in bulk

Formed in 1958, its beginners have given Villamora S.A. an style which still lasts, based in four principles: to produce honey of high quality according to the international standards, to respect the delivery time agreed upon with customers, to incorporate the last technological advances, and to make long term relationships with suppliers and purchasers.

Villamora S.A. produces honey in several areas of the Argentine Republic, coming from different flower varieties, such as: sunflower, eucalyptus, thistle, clover, alfalfa, lotus, etc.
Nowadays, high production volumes were reached, which enables us to supply efficiently the market´s demand at a national and international level, according to the requirements of the customer.

Once the honey is produced and is ready to be marketed, it is classified by means of the Pfund color grader, through the Hanna Instrument C 221 Honey Color Analyzer. According to this pattern, Villamora S.A. 's honey is within the following scale:

· White-water, from 1 to 8 mm

· Extra white, from 8 to 16.5 mm

· White, from 16.5 to 34 mm

· Extra light ambar, from 34 to 50 mm

· Light ambar, from 50 to 85 mm

· Ambar, from 85 to 114 mm

· Dark ambar, from 114 mm onwards

The honey in bulk is commercialized in drums of approximately 335 kgs. Each drum has a number of inscriptions which enables the customer to determine where this honey has been harvested and processed, being then possible to grant a greater security to the final consumer of the product.

Our company is approved by the SENASA (“Agroalimentary Health and Quality National Service”), which is a governmental agency from the Argentine Republic, the main purpose of which is to fiscalize and to certificate the products and sub-products of animal and vegetal origin. Besides, our honey satisfies the demands established by the Alimentarius Codex Commission of the FAO and by the OMS (Worldwide Health´s Organization).
